If you elect to use a Faith-Based Med Arb to resolve your conflict or dispute, the process would be the same as Faith-Based Mediation, with the addition of the Arbitration process at the point where the Mediation reaches an impasse, or where the parties can no longer find resolution for disputed issues. Your Arbiter, or decision-maker, will be the mediator you have been working with, however, that mediator will welcome input from your Faith leader or representative and will consider that input in reaching a final decision in your matter. Your Faith leader will act as an advocate on your behalf. This sets us apart from standard mediation. You can refer to your advocate as you enter the mediation process.
