Colorado Revised Statues §13-22-302(2.3) Mediation-Arbitration, or "Med-Arb", means a process in which parties begin by mediation, and failing settlement, the same neutral third party acts as arbitrator of the remaining issues. This allows for the parties to have a more efficient and effective process in resolving their disputes because the person who was acting as the Mediator, will have all the information necessary to issue an arbitration decision, instead of having to start from scratch to present evidence and inforamtion to a decision-maker or arbitrator.
